The colour is nothing like the depiction on the website. They are flat beige, not amber/gold. I'm disappointed and would like to return them, but a printed label is required, and I don't have a printer, so I'm having trouble.

Good weight, holds the books well and heavy enough to break tile flooring when the cat knocks it off without damaging the bookends.

Oh I actually love these. I’m a marble fabricator myself so I could have just made them but I didn’t even have to get wet off the clock and bullnose them or polish for hours after because some guy already did and stocked them on Amazon for a retail price half my wage. It’s like 5 hours of work to make these individual sets believe it or not. So it really is a steal to just buy the mass-produced machined ones. These are a great value. Holds all my heavy medical textbooks without a problem. Buy stick-on silicone sheet gripping you can cut to size and attach to the bottom and they will work even better because they won’t be able to slide. Make sure to get the 13 pounders.

There heavy so don’t drop them. But they do the job 👍🏻

The bookends I received didn't have quite as much marbling as I would have liked, but they still look great and function very well.

Well packaged and a very nice set of bookends. Quite heavy and a quality product.

Beautiful, but much lighter than described. One weighed 5.25 lbs the other 5.50 lbs = 10.75 lbs, NOT 13 lbs. They would "work" but I bought because I wanted super heavy bookends. Dimensions were approximately as described.

They are beautiful, sturdy and are holding up my heaviest and bulkier books with no issues. They come packed securely and well done. Definitely going to buy another set

I bought these approximately a year ago, I really liked them. I paid $39.99 which I thought was fair, they are heavy and visually appealing. Today I decided I needed another set and discovered that they have increased in price by $10. They're not worth that much, I can find equivalents for less.

I have never written a product review, but these are beautiful, exactly as described. Couldn't be happier.

Beware. This appears to be another duping between Amazon and yet another Chinese vendor. I have difficulty believing marble is sourced in Italy, transported to China for fabrication. This is improperly depicted on Amazon.

Beautiful and heavy and does the job they're meant to do. High quality item that's worth the price. Keeper!!

Not much one can say about bookends... They are very heavy and hold the books upright - basically they work as they should. The colors/patterns are as pictured (given expected variations being natural marble). Shipping was fast, and packaging was padded to protect the marble - more than adequate.

They are just what I am looking for. I appreciate the rounded tops as opposed to square tops. The rounded tops make picking up books easier. They look great and classy. They are smaller but they work.

They are not only extremely elegant looking but do a FAB job!

This is an attractive set of bookends. Well made and heavy enough to handle an extended row of books.

These are overall beautiful pieces, but they're not green. More of a black or dark gray marble with very tiny hints of green in some areas.

The white streak in the stone is Much wider, and more frequently occurring than in the picture on the site.Instead of this being a nice touch to a subtle, sophisticated appearance, this factor results in the bookends appearing sophomoric- like a small child used crayon on it.Very Dissappointing !

Obsessed with these but beware they are fat boys and are heavy. Too heavy for a floating shelf but so so cute

I knew based on the price that they were going to be good quality and at first, I was worried they were going to fall under the weight of textbooks. But because they were so dense, they hold their own. And they look incredible as well.
