Koville Natural Stone Square Bookend Set – Bookshelf Décor

Great heavy weight , I used it for my kids bookshelf which have lots of flimsy books. I had an acrylic one before that kept falling over so I’m using this square one to hold the acrylic one . I found this is the best way to keep the books in place. It is very rough in texture but it is a book end so there’s not much everyday contact so that doesn’t matter anyway . I’m surprised at the quality and substance of it.

The book ends' thickness, weight, texture, size, and color are as advertised. Unfortunately, even with the grips I added to the bottom, they wouldn't stand up on their own. Whether I tried to use them to hold up thick books or a few thin journals, they would stay upright for most of the day then coming crashing down on my desk with a loud thud at 2 A.M. I was completely over it after a few days then stuffed them in my closet. If I were thinking, I would've returned them right away but I missed the timeframe to do so.

Beautiful bookends but they are wobbly and keep falling over with the slightest movement. i think they're just too short, and should at least be slightly taller than half an average book height to stay upright.

These are more expensive than, say, ceramic versions, but they are also sturdier, which you want to keep you books from falling off a shelf. And they look nice, too.

I love these book ends. They are solid stone and have a good amount of weight to hold up even the heaviest books. The design is very stylish and I highly recommend them.

I absolutely love unique bookends and I think these fit the bill perfectly. They are exactly as described and pictured, and look great on my bookshelves. They are very heavy so be mindful of that, I wouldn't put them anywhere but the very edge of a shelf where they have better structures, as I think their weight has the potential to warp shelves. Because of the weight, they hold books up perfectly, with no sliding issues at all.

Real, heavy marble! Very simple and minimalistic design. Can be used separately as well. It matches everything and holds even the heaviest books. Love these on my shelves! Just make aure your shelves account for the extra weight of this marble! A great decor on your center table as well!

I have a couple sets of Koville book ends and I'm happy to report that this brand consistently delivers high-quality, stunning products. I love the look of these travertine bookends. They're quirky and elegant and practical all at the same time.My only objection, as with other products from this brand, is the poor quality of the included rubber "feet." They're too thick in proportion to their width and make thin(ish), heavy objects unstable. I always just throw away their pads and use my own stuff instead [B08CRRJLM8].

These are heavy and well made. The pieces are beautiful and they work really well as book ends.

This is a substantial and well crafted marble bookend set by Koville.I immediately noted how heavy they are, so they are appropriate to hold wider books. In fact, they'd be perfect to highlight an entire book series. The marble is smooth and beveled on the edges. I love all the natural pits and intricacies in the stone, revealing its natural beauty. As for coloring, the marble is a light latte, with tan, cream, and grey tones. The palette leans more cool than warm. You can stand both ends upright, keep them flat, or even vary the two.All the way around I think they these bookends are lovely. They will make a great addition to my desktop. I would recommend them to others.

I am so pleased with these bookends. They are weighty and quite sufficient to do their job. They look so good doing it, too. They look different from other stone bookends and that really sets them apart. They would make a great gift and they are very neutral as to gender, style choices, and decor colors. Mine look exactly like the photographs.

I recently built a library in my house and knew that I was going to need multiple sets of book ends. I ordered these Koville Marble Square Book Ends for a couple of reasons. They're marble, they're heavy enough to hold up thick and/or hardback books, and they kinda look like Legos.I expected the book ends to be nice based on the design, other reviews, and the material used, but the pictures do not do them justice. They are gorgeous!!!If you're on the fence due to the price, don't write them off completely. They're the nicest book ends I've ever had and they're actually worth $40. Add them to your wish list and keep and eye on the price.

These book ends are the perfect size to hold up the books I keep next to my bed. They are made from marble and as heavy as you would expect them to be. They come packaged very carefully to ensure there’s no damage to them in transit. These were just what I wanted.

These classic travertine book ends are heavy, solid travertine. My husband joked that they look like Leggo pieces - one of the reasons I hesitated getting them. But they are beautiful. My only issue with these is that they are thin and the weight is evenly displaced (not bottom heavy) that they do tip. I tried reinforcing they with the foot pads all the way to the edges but that did not help much. These are beautiful, just be careful having them hold tall or heavy items because if they fall, they will leave a dent.

I don’t have a lot of books, but I have a few and a pretty big cabinet. I’ve been looking to fill with small items. These were exactly what I needed. These are solid marble extremely heavy. I only have four books , but they hold them in place like nothing! Came with two packs of 3M felt feet. I did not put it on my book and do not slide it all in the cabinet so I didn’t see a need. Absolutely love the marble and the color is beautiful so happy I got these

These are beautiful travertine marble bookends. They came well packaged and protected. These are not lite little marble bookends, these are fairly heavy, solid pieces. The colors patterns vary slightly as these are rock but do match the photos presented by the manufacturer. Included in the packaging are 8 felt feet to prevent scratches on your bookcase. Very elegant looking and overall a great product.

a beautiful addition to my book/storage shelves. the marble on each bookend is unique and cut to accentuate the variations in texture and color. it is also quite heavy and sturdy enough to hold a couple or many of any size book on the shelf. soft pads are provided to protect the finish of your furniture. very nice set for any type decor. definitely recommended.

These book ends are gorgeous. When I saw someone referred to them as Lego look a likes , I thought that’s genius! They do look like one by one brick Legos. I love them because I actually have them on the shelf with some Legos.They are very solid bookends. The stone is gorgeous. They are unique and have different patterns because they are a natural stone. They are plenty heavy enough that they hold up my books. They each come with four little adhesive pads if you want to put them on the bottom to protect your shelf.I highly recommend these book ends. This set of bookends are simply gorgeous. They exude a classic confidence with simple, modern style. Travertine is one of my favorite stones because of that old-world feel. They are nice and heavy and come with little non-slip pads to help keep them secure. Easy to recommend!

We just had bookcases built in our house and I was needing some bookends. These are beautiful stone bookends, very heavy and sturdy. They are a neutral beige color with subtle swirls in lighter shades, which will go with almost any décor. They are a natural marble which accounts for the pores and texture and adds character. They are smooth with no rough edges and include foam pieces to prevent any slipping. They are quite functional bookends, holding my larger books without any problem, and are also esthetically pleasing. I recommend.

The stone is very porous with a few tiny pieces having flaked off in the box even though they were packed very smartly. It makes me think they are more delicate than they seem for stone bookends. But it's uniform across each entire piece so it doesn't detract from the appearance. They are nice an weighty and the pads they provide for the bottom are a plus so they don't scratch surfaces. The design is chic and minimalist but the size and simplicity of the design make them striking to look at. They marble is a lovely creamy neutral color. They're elegant and would work in most design settings I think. I love them.

As a person with more books than sense, I usually look for narrow profile, utilitarian bookends to keep my treasures in place without taking up precious shelf space. However, I couldn't resist the temptation of these Koville Marble Square Bookends, and I'm so glad I succumbed!In a word, they are simply elegant. Photos do not do them justice. The travertine marble has a soft sheen, which gives the bookends a real warmth. The surfaces are polished and smooth. Even with the simple block shape, the pores add interest, and the beveled edges lend a softness to this block of minerals.These bookends will definitely be making their home up front, in the "fancy books" area of my home library.

I love the neutral shade these bookends come in. They are also heavy af but so worth it. Looks great on my book shelf and really gives my library a feeling of sophistication. Highly recommended!!
