Great accent piece

Great heavy duty marble disc for kitchen use. I'm an avid baker and love working on marble and granite when I am baking. It's ability to keep things cool and not absorb flavors makes it ideal. This piece of marble is high quality, but it's way too small to be effective as a surface for working dough or pastry. Most likely I will use mine as a trivet for hot items or for display.

This marble cutting board serves its purpose and looks amazing while doing it! The material and round shape is different unlike any other cutting board I've seen. It is SUPER heavy, very thick and durable although I'd definitely be concerned if it was dropped. It's sturdy and it comes with adhesive "feet" padding to stick under the bottom to prevent sliding during cutting.Mine didn't come with many lines / marble pattern, but that's okay because I know with authentic things the pattern varies. It still looks really good and it gets compliments every time I show it to someone. I love it!

This is a beautiful piece of marble. Very heavy and large size to do your cookie and pastry making. It can with stick on pads for the back side. Smooth and finished on the one side. Bank side doesn’t have the polished look. I put mine back in the box for storage in the kitchen since it came well padded for when not in use. This piece is not going to slide off your counter. Awesome piece for your kitchen collection.

Quality wise, the surface is polished perfectly and the stone is gorgeous. The backside is a more "chalk-y" texture, but this is actually a positive to me because it makes it easier to grip onto and move without constant concern that it might slip out of your hands.There is a QC sticker that is on the backside that has a glue spot that unfortunately doesn't come out, so there is a dark spot blemish where the sticker used to be. Would like to see that changed.Also, it comes with a little foam square with pre-cut circles that you can use as non-slip feet to make sure it doesn't tip over and slide around on your countertops.The only thing keeping this from being 5 stars is that I find the non-slip feet solution pretty cheap and I definitely think they could put more effort into having it be an easier solution for the customer and just better long term. If they contoured pre-cut shallow holes into the back of the stone and put actual rubber soles, they would most likely last MUCH longer than the foam provided right now and would make it feel more like a whole product and less like buying a rock to put foam pads on it lol.Also, they advertise this as "knife-friendly" but I would still advise against using this with HEAVY use like cutting lots of potatoes or very hard foods. It will probably be a little unsafe since the knife could slip pretty easily, but also because it will dull your knife like crazy since rocks are just so much harder than the fine blades of your knives. Using it to slice some meat, or very light work is perfectly fine in my opinion and is great for that since it cleans so easy.
