A single-ended rolling pin carved from Namib Fantasy, cut simply and left to speak.

Look closely and you will find a soft white ground warmed by faint honey tones, with drifting grey veins that loosen and gather like cloud, with a surface that feels cool and smooth to the touch. The overall feeling is quiet and luminous, and it sits easily beside wood, linen, and ceramic, and it settles in quickly. The single-ended rolling pin format suits this stone well, giving the pattern a clear frame without crowding it.

Shaped for dough Shaped from solid stone, the piece is finished so the pattern remains the focus and the surface stays smooth; it is heavy enough to stay put, yet easy to lift and move when you rearrange the room; with no coating hiding the pattern. In Namib Fantasy, it brings a little geology to rolling dough and baking days without making a show of it.

High quality roller

This roller is very high quality, heavy, and amazing for the cost. I finally had the opportunity to make homemade pizza, and it worked like a charm, definitely got the crust to be flatter/more even than if I were to just stretch it by hand. My only issue is that it screws on where the handle meets the metal part, so sometimes that comes undone and gets annoying, but overall it is a solid piece and does a great job!

Needs improve

The pin unscrew a lot, so you have to keep tighten it.

Nice weight and petite size for storing

This is perfect for rolling pizza dough, biscuits and scones. It’s small, heavyweight and gives more control and precision than a large traditional rolling pin. Love this!

Beautiful piece

I recently purchased the Koville Small Marble Rolling Pin, and it's a beautiful and functional addition to my kitchen. However, there's one significant issue to be aware of.**Pros:*** **Beautiful Marble:** The Dreamy White Jade marble is stunning and adds a touch of elegance to my baking.* **Heavy-Duty and Non-Stick:** The weight of the marble makes rolling dough effortless, and the smooth surface is naturally non-stick.* **Perfect for Pastry and Dough:** It rolls out dough evenly and consistently, perfect for pizza, pastries, and cookies.* **Multi-Functional and Versatile:** It's great for various baking tasks.* **Durable:** The marble construction feels solid and durable.**Cons:*** **Screw Issue:** The screw that holds the pin into the roller frequently comes loose. This requires constant tightening, which can be frustrating during baking.* **Handle Loosening:** The handles also tend to loosen during use, requiring frequent tightening.* **Maintenance:** The user must be diligent in checking and tightening the screw to ensure proper functionality.**Overall:**The Koville Small Marble Rolling Pin is a beautiful and effective tool for baking. The marble construction and non-stick surface make it a pleasure to use. However, the recurring issue with the screw and handle loosening is a significant drawback. If you're willing to keep an eye on the screw and tighten it as needed, this rolling pin is a great choice. But if you prefer a maintenance-free tool, you might want to consider other options. If it wasn't for this is she with the screw and the handle coming loose I would give this a five-star reading.

Beautiful baking accessory

Admittedly a bit rough to look at from the outset as it is pieces of marble connected by steel but despite the rough construction it seems to be of high quality. As a fan of marble in general I find it quite beautiful as well as functional; it has served well in flattening pie crusts and biscuits thus far with no real issues with the dough sticking to the roller, I do chill the roller beforehand and this one holds onto the cold quite well.In addition it is far more maneuverable and as such functional than my larger rolling pins.

Works just fine

Feels heavy and quite substantial, works just fine. I'm a little worried about the connection to the roller but so far it's been fine. It's a bit bulky to fit in the drawer but what roller isn't?

Do you love to bake?

I have baked for years but never thought I’d have a marble pastry/rolling pin like this. I love the size. Roller is 4.53 inches and a heavy weight to make for great smooth rolling. The dough does not stick to the rolling pin, so it saves on the amount of flower going into your product and keeps it more moist and fluffy. Also the marble stays cold, which also adds to fluffiness. Before I use the rolling pin, I check the screw at the end of the roller to assure tightness while rolling. This is a great gift for a hard to buy for Baker. I highly recommend it.

Perfect for mini-pizzas

We often make mini pizzas with home-made dough. My wife is great at flattening a ball of dough and stretching it out by hand, but I am not. This pizza roller makes up for my lack of skill. The weight of the marble helps you to evenly push out the edges of the dough. The handle is comfortable to hold, and the roller cleans up easily. The only caveat is that the screw-on handle tends to come a little loose with use. Maybe I should put some loctite on the threads.

FAQs

Common questions about shipping, stone care, and returns.

Is shipping really free?

Yes — all U.S. orders ship free with no minimum purchase, and samples are included. For delivery outside the United States, please contact us at sales@koville.com for availability and rates.

How long will my order take to arrive?

In-stock orders usually ship within 72 hours, and most orders are delivered within 5–10 business days. Orders with laser engraving take a little longer: we email you a proof first, and production begins only after you approve it.

Will my piece look exactly like the product photos?

Not exactly — and that is the point. Every piece is cut from natural stone, so veining, tone, and natural markings vary from piece to piece. The photographs illustrate the character of the stone rather than an identical pattern; your piece will have its own one-of-a-kind pattern.

How do I clean and care for natural stone?

Wipe with a soft cloth and warm water with a drop of mild, pH-neutral soap, then dry. Avoid acidic cleaners such as vinegar or lemon, which can etch the surface. For more guidance, see our Stone Care guides.

What is your return policy?

Items in brand-new condition with no quality issues can be returned within 14 days of delivery, and items with quality problems can be replaced within 30 days. Please contact us before sending anything back so we can guide you through the process; return shipping for non-quality returns is the customer's responsibility. See the full refund policy for details.

Can I return or exchange a personalized item?

Items with custom laser engraving are made to order to your specifications and cannot be returned or exchanged.
