This butter dish has unexpectedly improved our butter experience. We used to grab butter from various places – a small glass dish in the fridge, cold foil packets, or even a saucer plate left on the kitchen counter, which, especially in summer, became more than soft. While we never minded the convenience, this marble dish with its wider base fits up to two bars and clear lid has made us appreciate a consistently good butter spread. The wide design and easy-to-lift glass lid are both practical and appealing to get some butter from it. The polished white marble is beautiful, it enhances the yellow color of butter on it and the dish's weight ensures it stays put on the table.

I was shocked when i grabbed this box off my front porch with how heavy it was! i took it out of the packaging and was stunned! This is no joke real marble that was carved for this dish! the glass top mirrors the quality as it’s thick and doesn’t seem easy to break. it’s beautiful quality and a timeless piece that seems like i’ll never have to replace it. highly recommend for anyone that wants a bougie but class butter dish for their countertops!

This is a very high quality marble dish! The marble bottom is heavy and solid and the glass top is equally sturdy. It truly is a lovely elegant dish overall. It also provides the perfect seal for your butter, spread, jam, etc.

This is a beautiful marble butter dish; it’s heavy, and the glass lid is of great quality. The size 7” w x 5” d x 4” h. is generous enough that I can also use it to display a nice block of cheese at a formal gathering, in addition to its intended use as a butter dish. The marble has a smooth finish with well-rounded edges, and the lid fits well. The marble has a subtle sparkle that adds to its elegance. I originally bought this butter dish because I liked the look of the white marble, but it ended up being both attractive and practical. It doesn't take up too much space on the counter or in the refrigerator door, and it looks nice enough to leave out when guests are over.The marble pattern on mine was unique and looked just like the product photos. Cleanup has been easy, and the dish still looks new after regular use.Overall, this is a simple product, but it's one of those kitchen items that makes everyday use a little more enjoyable. They are real marble, which is quite nice, but it absolutely detracts from the look that the lip where the lid sits in is unpolished. It triggers the tism something fierce when I touch the marble there, or even imagine touching it. Think like the bare ceramic on the underside of a coffee mug, but like, something you have to put the glass on.If you're less sensitive to textures than I am, it's probably just a minor manufacturing issue to you. But it definitely feels like a quality downgrade in my eyes, that they wouldn't run at least the first or second polishing stages through that groove, and round out the corners a little too.Otherwise, it's exactly as described, it's a large dish, and has a very chunky, nice feeling glass cover, and the marble is pretty and I appreciate the natural beauty of it.
