The photos make these look like high-end marble slabs, but in person they feel closer to cold stone blocks with a slight curve. They’re heavy and do their job, but the surface finish lacks that polished, refined feel the Amazon photos suggest.One of mine even came with a small gold flake in the stone—not a mark, just part of the patterning—but it looked random enough to feel unintentional. My order was for "White" and the bookends I received look closer to the "Gray" variant. While less than an ideal situation, I think the marbling looks great and works just as well for our space.Quality is fair. There are minor inconsistencies between the two that are only really going to be noticed upon close inspection. Box included the non-slip feet shown in some of the product photos, which I was happy to see didn't come pre-installed. These bookends have enough heft to them that I haven't seen the need to install the feet (at which point I would probably go with a thin adhesive cork or felt lining instead.)

Is shipping really free?
Yes — all U.S. orders ship free with no minimum purchase, and samples are included. For delivery outside the United States, please contact us at sales@koville.com for availability and rates.
How long will my order take to arrive?
In-stock orders usually ship within 72 hours, and most orders are delivered within 5–10 business days. Orders with laser engraving take a little longer: we email you a proof first, and production begins only after you approve it.
Will my piece look exactly like the product photos?
Not exactly — and that is the point. Every piece is cut from natural stone, so veining, tone, and natural markings vary from piece to piece. The photographs illustrate the character of the stone rather than an identical pattern; your piece will have its own one-of-a-kind pattern.
How do I clean and care for natural stone?
Wipe with a soft cloth and warm water with a drop of mild, pH-neutral soap, then dry. Avoid acidic cleaners such as vinegar or lemon, which can etch the surface. For more guidance, see our Stone Care guides.
What is your return policy?
Items in brand-new condition with no quality issues can be returned within 14 days of delivery, and items with quality problems can be replaced within 30 days. Please contact us before sending anything back so we can guide you through the process; return shipping for non-quality returns is the customer's responsibility. Items with custom laser engraving are made to order to your specifications and cannot be returned or exchanged.
