This is my first Mortar I’ve always wanted one it is heavy and sturdy it’s a good depth it was easy to season it make sure you do that it’s important. I would recommend this to my friends and family

I use this all the time. It must be prepped and seasoned prior to use!! Similar to how you prep and season a cast iron skillet. After you season it, it's so nice to use to make fresh guacamole. It is pretty heavy and seems like the real deal.

This Pestle and Mortar is BIG, Heavy and quality made! it'll handle any pounding or grinding needed. Its unpolished so it'll keep some of dried spices inside until you wash it, so keep that in mind. I always grind a bit more than needed because of that. It Works fast, and does clean up easily. It's a must have for any cultural cooking. "Use the right tool to get the right flavor" is what I say.This one is built to last. It even comes with a pad for the bottom so you don't scratch up your counter. This is going to be something that can easily be past down for generations.

The Koville solid stone grinder is a must-have kitchen tool! Carved by hand from granite, it's not only luxurious but also incredibly durable. I mainly grind spices and garlic with it. Cleaning takes a bit of effort since it is not super smooth inside, but that makes the grind better. It is also large! Highly recommend giving it 5 stars!

This granite pestle and mortar is beautiful. It's perfect for grinding everything from fresh and dried herbs to hard seeds. The bowl is heavy, and the entire thing is heavy-duty. I really like it. It's well-made and can be used for years before it's passed down to future cooks. I think the price is perfect, especially for the quality, durability, and the fact that it will be around for years to come.

I straight love this. I have had others that were just not this weight and I wasn't a fan. This one is heavy. It has a non slip bottom that comes with it and it works great. The inside is smooth and easy to clean. If I had one complaint, it would be the inside is a little too smooth. Some grit would help to grind stuff down a bit better. But even with that you would be trading off how easy it is to clean. My opinion, this is worth every penny.

When I decided to get a new mortar and pestle I wasn't sure whether to get marble or granite. When I googled it, granite was the definitive answer. My old mortar is a one cup marble set, so I thought an upgrade was in order.This two cup set is gorgeous. There's more friction from the rougher stone of the granite and it grinds my hard herbs like fennel, much easier and finer.It comes with an adhesive backed rubber base to be attached by the recipient.I can't believe I even considered a 4-cup set because this 2-cup set looks plenty big and will satisfy me for a long time.

I gifted this mortar to my mom, attracted by its unique one-of-a-kind granite design and promise of durability. While it's undoubtedly a beautiful kitchen piece, my mom founded its practicality lacking. The non-polished interior made grinding spices more laborious than expected, and the rough surface was challenging to clean thoroughly. Moreover, the heavy weight, though indicative of quality material, made it cumbersome to handle during regular use.
