Cannot handle large or xl incense; weak base

Item claims it can hold extra long incense at least 16 inches long, however base cannot handle a single incense stick. Base continues to topple; unable to weigh base downVery disappointed

P
Pay it forward
5/32” drill bit fixes it up just fine

The holes in the brass thingy are a bit too small for the larger incense sticks mine I use for mosquito repellent and they’re quite thick. Just slightly hone the middle hole with that bit and you’re in business. Note: to hold it in place for drilling, grip the brass thingy with one of those handy-dandy bar clamps.. you know; the ones with those rubber pads.

Green indian marble

"Koville Natural Green Marble Incense Holder, Upgraded 6" Incense Holders for Sticks, Sturdy Incense Burner Ash Catcher, Ideal for Meditation, Relaxing, Easy to Clean" in Color: Indian Green, 6 inchesI really am attracted to natural marble. The dish I received is a very pleasant variegated green. It has heft to it.Along with the dish you get a small metal incense holder, meant for holding incense sticks. It has holes of various diameters. You can easily accommodate two sticks at the same time.Environmental factors and the length of the incense stick will determine if all the incense ash falls into the dish or not. I preferred the wider, shallower dish to the 5" variety. It's nice that Koville has a wide selection of marble/stone choices for this item. I'm going to check out their other items since the quality of this marble dish is so nice.

Gorgeous green marble; I'm sold

This is such a pretty marble bowl, and it's useful for incense and more. Somewhere to put your car/house key? A bowl for tea pets when using a dry tray? Potpourri? It can hold absolutely anything you can fit in there, and that's a wide range. I'll be putting it on my altar to hold incense and stones; it's not the deepest, but it can hold a decent volume of first-pour teas when using a thicc boi teapet that might not fit in most bowls or cups. It's classy, thick and heavy (as marble is,) and I imagine if you use it as intended, it'll hold a stick, a cone, or straight powder incense easily. It doesn't smell (because it's an incense bowl, not incense), it is burn proof (because it is not flammable, so I cannot contest to it's burn rate---Amazon AI needs some work,) but it's definitely a solid value for the price.A classy marble bowl for any household.

Good weight, functional, and attractive

We go through a lot of citronella sticks on our deck in the summer, and I needed an incense holder that would not tumble over easily. Well, this it is! It's pretty heavy for such a small size and the insect repellent sticks fit in perfectly. Because the diameter of the dish isn't too wide, it does not catch all the ashes, but for outside use that's not a problem. The quality of the stone used is high, and this holder is pretty to look at and functional.

Beautiful sturdy incense burner

Only one real complaint about this. With the large incense sticks, it's very easy for them to get knocked over - metal holder and all. Aside from that, it's a beautiful piece. It's a good size for short smudge sticks, as shown. The stone is really beautiful. It's not perfect at catching ashes, but most incense holders are not and this is better than a lot of them in that respect. If I wanted to do nothing but burn stick incense in this, I might stick the holder down with a blob of glue, but it's nice to have the option of using the bowl for other things, so I won't.

Looks Nice but Lacks Practicality

The Koville Natural Green Marble Incense Holder looks pretty and stylish, but unfortunately, it’s almost unusable. The incense sticks are too heavy for the holder, causing them to fall over easily. It’s basically just taking up space without serving a purpose. While it’s attractive, its practicality is limited, which is disappointing.

Solid Marble

Beautiful green marble. I didn’t get this to burn incense but you could. I got it because I love anything marble. Marble is a quality stone. Heavy duty and doesn’t fall apart. The green matches other pieces in my home. This bowl can be used for almost anything like jewelry, keys, soap, coaster. So many ideas. Came with a gold incense holder and a black pad. Solid and sturdy bowl. Love it.

Real marble!

I was surprised at how heavy this is. It is solid marble and has a very nice weight. The stone is beautiful and understated. It comes with a heavy metal cube with holes to hold incense sticks of various thicknesses. The cube also has a solid feel, and keeps the incense inside the catchment stone.I definitely recommend this product. Would I buy it again? Absolutely!

nice bowl might be soapstone

The stone bowl is heavy and the incense holder is surprisingly heavy for its size.I have a couple other incense holders that hold the sticks at an angle. The nice thing about this one is that the incense falls straight down into the bowl, I don’t have to worry about the ash getting on the table. I can also set the used match in the bowl. The smoke raising straight off the upright sticks looks nice, too.I sometimes use low-smoke incense which doesn’t have a stick inside. When the incense is done burning, I can pop out the leftover bit because the hole goes all the way through. Some incense holders are hard to clean out.I like that there’s multiple places to put incense sticks, in different sizes. This morning when I was doing dishes I opened something foul and I lit two sticks to cover the smell while I cleaned.I think the weight of the bowl is nice, it isn’t going to get tipped over.Since the insert sits in the bowl, you could pick a different holder for a different look. I have a little ceramic cat incense holder that would look cute in it. You could also use it to hold rocks or jewelry.I can’t deduct stars for this because I’m not a rock expert but it seems more like soapstone than marble to me. I’m comparing it to carved soapstone animals and marble floor tiles. It just has that almost-waxy sheen to it that soapstone has and it’s the right color for it. The pattern is like soapstone, not veined. My guess is that marble is more popular and sounds fancier. Really, soapstone is a better choice. Soapstone is less porous and more heat-resistant.

Gorgeous Marble Incense Holder

This is a gorgeous and heavy incense holder. It holds multiple stick sizes and is sturdy. I love that this holder is 100% marble. Sizing is 5.12"W x 1.77"H. Excellent quality and affordable pricing. This would make a nice gift.

FAQs

Common questions about shipping, stone care, and returns.

Is shipping really free?

Yes — all U.S. orders ship free with no minimum purchase, and samples are included. For delivery outside the United States, please contact us at sales@koville.com for availability and rates.

How long will my order take to arrive?

In-stock orders usually ship within 72 hours, and most orders are delivered within 5–10 business days. Orders with laser engraving take a little longer: we email you a proof first, and production begins only after you approve it.

Will my piece look exactly like the product photos?

Not exactly — and that is the point. Every piece is cut from natural stone, so veining, tone, and natural markings vary from piece to piece. The photographs illustrate the character of the stone rather than an identical pattern; your piece will have its own one-of-a-kind pattern.

How do I clean and care for natural stone?

Wipe with a soft cloth and warm water with a drop of mild, pH-neutral soap, then dry. Avoid acidic cleaners such as vinegar or lemon, which can etch the surface. For more guidance, see our Stone Care guides.

What is your return policy?

Items in brand-new condition with no quality issues can be returned within 14 days of delivery, and items with quality problems can be replaced within 30 days. Please contact us before sending anything back so we can guide you through the process; return shipping for non-quality returns is the customer's responsibility. See the full refund policy for details.

Can I return or exchange a personalized item?

Items with custom laser engraving are made to order to your specifications and cannot be returned or exchanged.
