This cutting board is a GORGEOUS piece of marble, with smooth polish and finish. As soon as I lifted this very heavy piece from the box, the unique marbling throughout the stone caught my eyes. This is no ordinary piece of marble, but one with unique facets and design in the same way that wood has unique grain and staining. As a functional cutting board or cheese board, this is a beautiful and stylish piece to add to your kitchen. It can be used for kneading dough, or cutting, or simply used as a gorgeous independent cheese board at our next social gathering. Very pleased with this purchase, and the uniqueness of this particular cut of marble.

Initially I had wanted to use this as the description of the product intended as a cutting board but I actually found functionality in using it as a perfect base for clay sculpting!The weight of it is hefty enough to hold in place but also light enough to transport any sculpture to another area after use!I initially tried using it as a cutting board and felt it being a bit of a nuisance to lift up and clean after cooking so I opted for this more crafty use-case.Don't get me wrong though, the product is great! From aesthetics, weight and resistance to scratches it hits all the points it needs.Overall, I'd say this is a sweet choice in product even if it isn't going to be used in the conventional way you'd imagine!Hope the insight helps, cheers! :^)

I love marble, so I had to have this. Its smaller than I expected, but nice. It looks good, although there was a small chip along one of the sides. I hate to sand it down because I don't want to mar the finish. I also kind of wish it had been more like a regular cutting board rectangular shape. overall, I'm happy with it.

What a beautiful, smooth polished stone. I just love it. I have a petite pod coffee machine in a tight space and this tray perfectly fits the brewer and little glass jar of pods. Don’t hesitate to order this. It is impeccable quality.

This round marble slab is gorgeous in person -- it's got the subtle veins of the marble and there were no imperfections (chips or pits) on the actual surface itself. It's on the heavy side but that makes it feel a bit more luxurious.When not in use as a cheese board, it's used as a table-top protector for a potted plant. As a cheese board, because the marble naturally stays cool, the coolness helps keep the cheese cold (we'll stick in in the fridge for 20 minutes first and then set the cheeses on top.)It's 11" round but large enough for a nice spread. I think any bigger and it would be too heavy and cumbersome to use. It's not our only charcuterie board but it is our only cold cheeses board!One more thing to note; this has a finished top that is polished and the bottom is bare and unpolished. We like it this way but if you're thinking that the bottom has felt so it doesn't scratch surfaces, you will have to add it yourself.

This item is gorgeous! It seems high quality and is quite heavy. Cleans like a dream and was definitely worth the price. Displays beautifully as well!!

I really like this cutting board for its beauty, durability, and the fact that it can double as a surface on which to knead bread. Marble is cool so the bread doesn't get hot, and it is smooth, helping you do a good job kneading. Also, it is a nice size, not too big, not too small.Despite its more than one use, its durability, and its attractiveness, I wouldn't use it as an only cutting board. It is heavy. It needs special care; please no acid products and certainly no bleach. It can be disinfected with a half water, half white vinegar solution, though. It can't be put in the dishwasher. And the last disadvantage is that it dulls knives.Despite the disadvantages i really like it and enjoy not only using it, but displaying it in my kitchen.

This is a nice disc of white marble that comes with adhesive rubber feet.I would never use it with a knife the way cutting boards are generally used. It would be fine for displaying and slicing cheese with a cheese slicer, but it isn't a blade-friendly surface for cutting.I am using it to draw attention to business cards on a counter, and it is great for that. It looks good, draws the eye, and has a touch of class.

This is a very high quality, beautiful marble cutting board/tray. It's heavy and sturdy & comes with adhesive backed circles to adhere to the bottom to protect a top you may want to protect. The size is perfect for daily use for the onions, celery, garlic we seem to use so much. I was surprised at the quality and appearance.....it's much more than I expected and I'm absolutely pleased with the purchase. It would make an outstanding gift but I am keeping it to use in my kitchen because it's just beautiful. I'd really recommend this.

This is such a beautiful round piece of marble. It was delivered in a very beautiful gift box, cushioned to protect the precious marble. The marble round is heavy but quite elegant. it comes with rubber grips to apply to the bottom, allowing the marble to not scratch your countertop or table surface. Although this is marketed as a cutting board, I can imagine dozens of different uses for it. Whether as a cutting board, or as a cheese tray, or four perfume bottles on your vanity, the uses are almost endless. This is a beautiful and elegant item, and would make a lovely gift. If you can bring yourself to part with it!

This is a lovely piece of solid marble, with smooth edges. The marbling is subtle, a la a Cararra style. It's heavy, and weighs over 5 pounds. It's a nice piece. Having little edges to make it easier to move and carry would make this even more useful. It's definitely of giftable quality.

This is heavier than I expected at a weight over 7 pounds. 11” radius and .6 in height. Very well cut and smoothed. Works great as a cutting board, or as a serving board for cheese and other food items. Easy to clean but don’t drop it!

This is exactly what the description says: A beautiful sold piece of marble. The marbling is subtle yet pretty, and the marble is very solid. You could conceivably use this as a decorative base in addition to a cutting board.

Picked this up to complete new kitchen counters. I was dumbfounded at how beautiful the colors are and how the marble matches almost perfectly with the kitchen counters. It really complements the kitchen and looks very beautiful and luxurious. Definitely a must buy!
