Marble is very easy to clean and less sticky than my other rolling pins. Overall I am pleased with the style of this rolling pin.

Elegant and Effective Marble Rolling Pin. Great Value!

I recently purchased the Erongoo Marble French Rolling Pin (crafted from Indian Green Marble), and it has quickly become my favorite tool for baking. At around $29, it offers exceptional value for such a high-quality, professional-feeling piece. Here's my detailed experience after using it for pies, cookies, and pastry dough:Made from beautiful Indian Green Marble, this rolling pin has a luxurious look and feel. The natural stone patterns are stunning, and the dimensions (15.6"L x 2.2"W) make it comfortable to handle without being overly bulky. The tapered French-style ends allow for excellent control and even pressure when rolling out dough. It has the perfect weight. It's heavy enough to effortlessly press and smooth dough with minimal effort, yet not so heavy that it's tiring to use. The marble stays cooler for longer than wood or silicone pins, which is fantastic for working with buttery pastries, pie crusts, or fondant. It helps prevent the dough from warming up too quickly and sticking. The wooden stand is a thoughtful addition. It keeps the pin displayed nicely on the counter and protects the marble surface. A clever bonus: if you flip the stand over, the curved groove perfectly holds a phone or tablet upright for hands-free recipe viewing while you work. The marble feels solid and well-crafted. I've been extremely careful with it (storing it on the stand, hand-washing gently, and avoiding drops), and it has held up beautifully so far. It's super easy to clean, as you would expect. That said, I've read reviews from others mentioning that the marble can split or crack if mishandled, so treating it with care is key—it's natural stone, after all, not indestructible. For approximately $29, this rolling pin punches way above its price point. It performs like much more expensive marble pins I've seen in kitchen stores, making it a fantastic value for home bakers.Pros:Ideal weight for effortless, even rollingNaturally cool surface improves dough handlingBeautiful Indian Green Marble constructionComfortable French tapered designSmart wooden stand with phone holder featureOutstanding quality and performance for the priceCons:Requires careful handling to avoid potential cracking (common with marble)Overall, this Erongoo marble rolling pin has elevated my baking game and looks gorgeous on my counter. If you're tired of lightweight pins that don't get the job done, this is a worthwhile upgrade—just treat it gently and you'll love it. Highly recommend for serious home bakers or as a thoughtful gift!

Minimum uses and broke in half!

I purchased a rolling pin from this company through Amazon, Koville African Natural Marble French Rolling Pin and it has broken in half after no more than 15 uses. I would like a replacement or a refund from the company and have reached out directly to them. UPDATE - Contacted the company and they replaced without question. Great customer service!

Beautiful, Functional, and a Total Upgrade!

This marble French rolling pin is not only beautiful but incredibly functional. I love that it comes with a stand, which makes it perfect for displaying or simply keeping it from rolling around while I’m prepping ingredients. It worked beautifully when rolling out dough—such a huge improvement over my old wooden rolling pin, which always seemed to stick no matter how much flour I used. The size is just right. It’s not overly large, so it doesn’t take up a ton of space, yet it absolutely gets the job done. This rolling pin has quickly become one of my favorite kitchen tools! Highly recommend.

Beautiful, functional rolling pin.

Review of the Erongoo Marble French Rolling Pin, tapered maple red, at $28.99The roller arrived safely wrapped in a box, with padding, and the wooden stand. It is 15 3/4 inches long and 1 1/2 inches in diameter towards the middle. The center of the roller is the same diameter for most of its length before tapering a bit to the ends. Mine weighs 2lbs 6 oz, so a bit narrower and lighter than the sample. Nonetheless, it did an admirable job flattening a pie crust with a minimum of effort. The color and the overall shape is very similar to the descriptive photo. The surface is smooth and polished. In short, it is beautiful; there is a danger of distraction. The base is useful to keep the roller on the counter between uses; it’s heavy enough to cause damage if it falls off. Flipped, the base provides a good holder for a phone or tablet, even vertically. The notch is 1/2 inch, slightly tilted towards the long sideI am very happy with this roller, which is ideal as a gift for any baker, including the purchaser. :) The price is reasonable for marble, and the quality is excellent. Recommended.

Wow, really nice natural stone rolling pin

I was hoping this would be nice quality, and it is! I’m really impressed with this rolling pin. It’s heavy with a very smooth surface and rolls evenly and nicely, it’s shaped perfectly. The color is more of a pinkish-beige marble that I received. The natural stone itself has a crevice in one side, but that doesn’t impact the use, and is to be expected with natural stone. Because this is a solid stone, unless I drop it, I’m sure it’ll last for many decades! I’m overall pleased with this product.

I like pretty kitchen tools, especially when they're also functional.

I already have a number of wooden rolling pins in various styles and kinds of wood. I wanted a marble rolling pin for pastry, and this is a really pretty one. I like that it’s different than the typical black and white marble. Mine is a light pinkish-beige color with some white and darker pink through it. It’s nicely made with a smooth, polished finish.I made a bacon-leek tart for dinner and used the rolling pin to roll the crust. My dough was chilled, but still a bit soft. I did not chill the rolling pin; I simply rubbed it with a bit of flour before and during the rolling. I didn’t roll with a lot of force. I let the weight of the rolling pin do most of the work, and the dough didn’t stick at all.I like this rolling pin. It has enough mass to stay cool while rolling, but not so much that it’s overly heavy to use. It handles well. It makes a nice alternative to my wooden rolling pins, so I now have options. As with anything else, picking the right tool for the job, makes the job easier. I like easier, easier is good.

High quality rolling pin - would make a great housewarming gift!

I adore French rolling pins and this one is so easy to work with. It is heavy! Which is great for rolling out pie dough or cookie dough since you get so much oomph with way less muscle work. The rolling pin is easy to handle and very smooth and makes rolling out dough very easy to do. The stone naturally stays cooler so I don’t have to worry about overheating my dough and that’s such a great thing! I love that it comes with a stand making it convenient to keep this handy while working. The stand had a very strange notch but then I figured out you can use it as a phone stand….i mean it’s not something I need regularly but it’s a thoughtful addition. This would make an amazing gift for a favorite baker or as a housewarming gift. It’s so easy to overlook having a quality rolling pins and this but this makes it easy to invest in this piece for your kitchen.

Just Beautiful

This is a very beautiful and well-designed rolling pin. It is made of marble and looks stunning. The surface is smooth and the pin itself is very heavy. It has a good feel to it on your hands when rolling. I love the taper ends of french pins and this one is exactly what I needed. I have been wiping it down with a wet cloth and it cleans perfectly. So far, it works very well and seems durable. For the price, this is a really good value.

Solid rolling pin

This rolling pin does exactly what it’s supposed to do. It arrived intact, feels sturdy, and rolls out dough without any issues. The marble has a nice smooth surface, and the weight helps with even rolling. I don’t have anything unusual to report--it just works as intended.

Top Notch Rolling Pin

I’ve been using this marble rolling pin for a couple of months to roll out sourdough for bread & pastries. It works so much better than my old wood rolling pin. Dough is much less likely to stick. Plus, this has a little weight to it which makes rolling the dough faster. It’s also much easier to clean because the surface is extremely smooth. Love the wood stand that came with it. Keeps it steady when standing by for its next assignment. Highly recommend this.

For really tiny hands or for 5 year old kids to play with clay

It doesn’t have enough space for fingers it smashed my finger with every rolling motion

Broke too easily

It looked beautiful, but it broke in half the first second I used it. I didn't slam it down, just tried to lightly roll over dough, and it snapped in half. After it broke, I looked inside and it is extremely soft stone, which should not be used for anything but display purposes. I had a stone import business for many years and no one should use stone this soft & breakable for kitchen use. It should be made of something stronger like granite or basalt.

FAQs

Common questions about shipping, stone care, and returns.

Is shipping really free?

Yes — all U.S. orders ship free with no minimum purchase, and samples are included. For delivery outside the United States, please contact us at sales@koville.com for availability and rates.

How long will my order take to arrive?

In-stock orders usually ship within 72 hours, and most orders are delivered within 5–10 business days. Orders with laser engraving take a little longer: we email you a proof first, and production begins only after you approve it.

Will my piece look exactly like the product photos?

Not exactly — and that is the point. Every piece is cut from natural stone, so veining, tone, and natural markings vary from piece to piece. The photographs illustrate the character of the stone rather than an identical pattern; your piece will have its own one-of-a-kind pattern.

How do I clean and care for natural stone?

Wipe with a soft cloth and warm water with a drop of mild, pH-neutral soap, then dry. Avoid acidic cleaners such as vinegar or lemon, which can etch the surface. For more guidance, see our Stone Care guides.

What is your return policy?

Items in brand-new condition with no quality issues can be returned within 14 days of delivery, and items with quality problems can be replaced within 30 days. Please contact us before sending anything back so we can guide you through the process; return shipping for non-quality returns is the customer's responsibility. See the full refund policy for details.

Can I return or exchange a personalized item?

Items with custom laser engraving are made to order to your specifications and cannot be returned or exchanged.
