This is quite the mortar and pestle!It's enormous and quite heavy, all good qualities but alas, for me, it is likely to get relegated to the back of a cupboard only to be used occasionally because it is so cumbersome.But, I had to have it, so if you just have to have one of these big ol' mortar and pestle this is a good one.

I love this! I can crush large supplement tablets that are too big to swallow. ( I crush them and put the powder in my smoothies. It is big enough to make homemade guacamole in. Crush garlic and anything you can imagine. Very handy tool to have in the kitchen and it’s beautiful!

This is a huge mortar and pestle! Will make a huge batch of guacamole. Also great for crushing nuts, crackers and garlic. It is very heavy as it is marble. Very smooth.Easy to clean. Great value for the price. I got it on sale and honestly cannot believe I could get such a great set for so little.
Changing to 4. Seller reached out and replaced the pestle but only after the review.Would rate 0 if I could. Used about 8 times for crushing seasoning. Very light use and the pestle broke. Seemed odd since this material is all marble.Contacted the company via email and never received a response.

This is a good product. The only thing is that I didn’t realize how big it was if you don’t need a really big bowl then make sure you get a smaller one. Other than that, it’s really good.

I got this as a gift and I use it to grind herbs from our garden to put in our cooking. It's very beautiful and it's very heavy which allows you to grind with some Force. You just can't overload it. Otherwise it works great.

It’s beautiful and looks well made. Taking one star off because the inside is also polished to be very smooth, which makes it impossible to grind basil leaves fine enough for pesto. Assume this is ok for crushing spices. Think I’ll be looking for a traditional Ligurian mortar next for making pesto in the tradition way.

Great size for making salsa and guac. The weight is perfect for making pesto and grinding spices. Rubber bottom perfect for preventing slippage on counter surfaces. Love this product. Excellent quality and well made.
Pretty but I have no use for it
This mortar and pestle is heavy, but it’s amazing! Very durable and has crushed any spice we’ve put in there! Seems like it’ll last a long long time too!

How long will my order take to arrive?
In-stock orders usually ship within 72 hours, and most orders are delivered within 5–10 business days. Orders with laser engraving take a little longer: we email you a proof first, and production begins only after you approve it.
Will my piece look exactly like the product photos?
Not exactly — and that is the point. Every piece is cut from natural stone, so veining, tone, and natural markings vary from piece to piece. The photographs illustrate the character of the stone rather than an identical pattern; your piece will have its own one-of-a-kind pattern.
How do I clean and care for natural stone?
Wipe with a soft cloth and warm water with a drop of mild, pH-neutral soap, then dry. Avoid acidic cleaners such as vinegar or lemon, which can etch the surface. For more guidance, see our Stone Care guides.
What is your return policy?
Items in brand-new condition with no quality issues can be returned within 14 days of delivery, and items with quality problems can be replaced within 30 days. Please contact us before sending anything back so we can guide you through the process; return shipping for non-quality returns is the customer's responsibility.
