These marble bookends are gorgeous. The marble used is absolutely stunning. These have a very lux look to them. The description shows using the holes in the top as a vase, but we’ve been using them for pens. The cut is done very well, the quality is great and these are quite durable. They are excellent bookends and are heavy enough to hold up encyclopedias if necessary.
These are the perfect kind of bookends to have when you want to be sure that your books will stay exactly in place. With these flanking the shelves, you can be sure they will! As pure marble, they are of course ... fabulously heavy! I have few bookends that are solid enough to stand up to the substantial book sets I have, but these certainly will do an excellent and wonderful job! In addition to their natural weight, they have a broad base as well that enables very firm, solid and stable support. The marble stone bookends have beveled edges for both a nice aesthetic and smooth touch and a small carved vase in the top of each piece to enjoy single blossoms or mini bouquets. These actually look just about the right size for small flameless votive candles too. The carved in vase definitely allows for some extra options for adding to the decor on the the bookshelf. Very delighted with this hefty, gorgeous set. The marble also has tiny natural flecks that are crystalline-like creating added highlights. The shimmery flecks just further enhance the already natural beauty of the marble. It shows up as very subtle, occasional soft sparkles in the sunlight. Such a lovely set to add a classic and practical touch to a book shelf or library.

Is shipping really free?
Yes — all U.S. orders ship free with no minimum purchase, and samples are included. For delivery outside the United States, please contact us at sales@koville.com for availability and rates.
How long will my order take to arrive?
In-stock orders usually ship within 72 hours, and most orders are delivered within 5–10 business days. Orders with laser engraving take a little longer: we email you a proof first, and production begins only after you approve it.
Will my piece look exactly like the product photos?
Not exactly — and that is the point. Every piece is cut from natural stone, so veining, tone, and natural markings vary from piece to piece. The photographs illustrate the character of the stone rather than an identical pattern; your piece will have its own one-of-a-kind pattern.
How do I clean and care for natural stone?
Wipe with a soft cloth and warm water with a drop of mild, pH-neutral soap, then dry. Avoid acidic cleaners such as vinegar or lemon, which can etch the surface. For more guidance, see our Stone Care guides.
What is your return policy?
Items in brand-new condition with no quality issues can be returned within 14 days of delivery, and items with quality problems can be replaced within 30 days. Please contact us before sending anything back so we can guide you through the process; return shipping for non-quality returns is the customer's responsibility.
