Now this is a gorgeous lighting piece! This isn't your average "marble-look plastic; this is genuine natural stone. Each piece is unique, and the veining in mine is subtle but distinct, which gives it a custom look. The circular, minimalist design is kind of like wall art instead of lighting. When it is turned off, it has a matte elegance, but when turned on, the marble creates a soft, ethereal glow that you just can't get from glass or fabric.Because marble is dense, the light is diffused and warm. It's perfect for ambient lighting in a bedroom or hallway where you want to avoid harsh glare. The circular shape is slim enough for stairwells or narrow hallways without being a hazard. It would provide a nice wash of light against the wall.For anyone who may not know, natural marble is significantly heavier than plastic. So, you should make sure your wall anchors or electrical box can handle the weight. My husband is a contractor, which means, the installation part was done by him. He said the mounting hardware included was standard and the installation was easy and straightforward. Easy peasy! I appreciate that the design hides the screws for a seamless finish.There are so many great things that I can say about this beautiful wall sconce! It is made of real, natural stone, so the patterns are 100% unique. It offers excellent heat resistance and is incredibly easy to just wipe clean. The only negative is that this sconce is hardwired only so there is no plug-in option. However, I understand that because the marble is heavy the mount needs to be completely secure.TIP: I am afraid of doing anything with electricity, so my hubby installed this for me. If you're anything like me, leave it for your partner or call an electrician.If you're looking for a modern, quiet type of luxurious vibe for your home, this sconce is a fantastic choice. It feels durable enough to last decades and provides a much more relaxing atmosphere than standard LED fixtures.

This is the first wall sconce I’ve ever attempted to put up that was not either battery operated or plugged in. Scary stuff! But definitely the benefit of owning a home. If it goes wrong, i put a picture over it and keep it moving. No worries about losing a deposit!This item arrives with clear instructions and the tools and hardware needed to mount it. Since this is wired, you will need to know what you’re doing with electricity or call someone who does to assist you!Installation was as painless as possible, and it’s a beautiful fixture that gives off a warm light. It reminds me of something celestial, like maybe a smaller moon in front of a big one. It’s gorgeous and i highly recommend it!

This is a beautiful wall sconce crafted with heavy, sturdy materials that looks great on the wall. The natural marble stone is quite heavy, has a lot of character, and looks great illuminated. The back reflector appears to be made out of a heavy stone material. The metal is thick and painted well, and it looks sharp on the wall. The lamp that I received is a wall-mounted sconce that you hardwire to 120 volts. There was no battery in my sconce.I deducted a star from this because there are a couple of things that surprised me for my installation. I tried the best as I could to capture the character of the stone that I received. I have no way of knowing if it's marble, but it's heavy, veined, and transparent with faults that go all the way through, so I know it's some sort of stone. There does appear to be some irregularly shaped glittery specks imbedded within the stone. It looks good on the wall, but doesn't have nearly as much character as the product photo suggested.Additionally, the color temperature of this lamp is a cool white (5000K). The product photos suggested that this was a much warmer light (2700K-3000K), and I'm pretty disappointed at how cold this light is for my use case. There is no way to change the color temperature or the intensity of the built-in LEDs.

This light is beautiful, date I say mesmerizing. It is solid marble with metal light and is very solidly assembled. In the pictures, I have the light sitting on a a background I made for photography which really accents the marble. After renovations are complete and the actual installation is done, I will add that picture. I recommend this light just be ready to stare at it for a little while once you turn it on, Lol.

You know how it goes: you order something listed as being made of marble and it arrives as a heavy piece of plastic with some funky marble design veneer. Not this item! No, this wall sconce is made with REAL marble. Heavy and super quality. Arrived very well packaged and protected. The ambient lighting is subtle and beautiful and installation was a cinch. They even included the tool you need. And what a unique statement it makes! Reminds me of an eclipse - a true sight to see indoors.
