Verde Alpi, quiet and solid as an incense burner, in a form made for everyday use.

In this cut, a deep forest-green ground, and pale veins and cloudy mineral patches, whose quiet depth suits both minimal and layered rooms. The result feels cool and woodland, never loud, and it ages gracefully with use, with a quiet confidence that grows on you. The incense burner format suits this stone well, giving the pattern a clear frame without crowding it.

Shaped for slow rituals Cut and finished with care, the stone keeps its natural pattern front and center while the edges are softened for everyday handling; the density is part of the appeal: it does not slide around or feel flimsy; with nothing added beyond the cut and the finish. Use it for slow incense rituals, and let the stone's pattern be the decoration.

Loved it! Very nice incense holder.

This incense stand is very stable. The way I figured this out was to put the little spherical holder on the side of the big marble/stone bridge and combined together this can be used very effectively as an incense holder. It definitely have asthetic values as well as it looks as a good decorative addition in my room. Loved it!

The quality is really nice. It’s pretty heavier than it looks. I love the color it matches my living room very well. It’s not too big or small . It’s also a great accent decorative piecec

Very beautiful

This incense holder is lovely. It’s weighted nice and long with a great curve. Weighted gold tone ball to hold the stick incense. Rubber feet to protect the surface. Really nice marbling with the green choice. I love it. It’s so pretty and works really well. I have used it with a thin stick so it fit great. You could use many different sized inserts and place it onto the tray. The ball is not permanently attached which is nice so you can place it anywhere.

Classy Incense Holder

The near Jet-Black stone is just a sublime beauty and so pleasing to the eyes. Being made of real marble it's very durable and more importantly east to clean after use. I'm so happy to add this marble incense holder to my incense collection.

Nice marble tray

The brass holder does not attach to the marble tray.

Beautiful marble incense holder

At 11" long and 2 9/16" wide, this is a hefty slab of beautiful marble. The brass ball really looks good with it as well. The only issue I have with it is the brass ball that holds the incense stick should have been affixed to the marble. I remedied this issue with a dab of clear silicone I had on hand. They should have affixed the brass ball to the base or at least included some type of adhesive. I recommend a tiny tube of silicone. It is a beautiful piece of thick marble, and for the price it's easy to grab a small cheap tube of silicone.

Very pretty

It's really cool looking, and I appreciate that the actual "ball" that holds the incense isn't mounted, so it can be shifted as needed. The sole complaint I have about this is that the "ball" is rather small, which means the insense sticks only go in about 3'8"; it doesn't seem all that stable, if we're being honest.

Doesn't Work

I got this as part of the review program to try out.I've had a few incense burners in the past and have never seen a design like this.It looked really nice from the picture, but didn't work well once I received it.First, the gold ball was not attached, but completely separate and had to be affixed. The pack came with adhesive circles, but it was only sticky on one side so it didn't actually help the ball to stick. I had to use the 4 circles to affix it all together, but it still doesn't work quite well. The ball has the only way to hold the incense stick and it isn't the right length to hold the incense stick safely either. I don't feel comfortable lighting the incense stick with the ball not securely affixed as well as it not being long enough. I really wanted this to work and have tried multiple ways, but I just can't get it to work well. I feel like something was missed in the design process here and safety is a big issue. Right now the incense stick would burn and fall over my furniture. I can probably only use this with the incense cones, but is unfortunately not what I got it for. I think it would be a great product if it was just adjusted and tested out more before release.

Beautiful!

This is a gorgeous holder. The marble has a nice, bold green color and it has some weight to it. The little pads were simple to put on the bottom as well. I've seen reviews saying the ball that holds the incense stick falls over a lot...it's such a simple fix. I put a dot of super glue on it and that's not a problem any longer. It's such a nothing issue to me, I'm still giving it 5 stars. Should I HAVE to do that? Of course not. But it took like 2 seconds...big deal. It's a beautiful piece, I love it.

Beautiful but assembly is annoying

As others have said, the brass piece is separate and the foam feet are an extra sheet that you have to put on yourself. I used a clear tack sticky dot under the brass bit to keep it in place and that has worked well for me so far. That said, the marble is gorgeous, and the brass looks amazing next to it. The green texture is just so pretty. I totally get why folks have left really low reviews because of the design issues and I agree with that, but after a few (annoying) fixes at the front end, it’s a gorgeous statement piece.

Feels solid, looks classy

It's one big heavy chunk of marble and a brass sphere with a flat bottom and a hole for incense. The brass ball isn't attached to the marble but it doesn't need to be either, you can position it wherever you want. It's nice and long so larger size (but not jumbo size) incense will still drop it's ash on the tray.

A Grand Incense Burner

This is a grand incense burner that is made from high-quality, sturdy marble material. It is so beautiful to admire, it burns my incense nicely, the clean-up is rather easy, as simple as a wipe down, the little golden ball does move around a lot and that makes me leery when I am burning my favorite incense, so my husband put a small tab of double-sided tape on it and it is holding strongly with no fear of moving around at all. I also love the stoppers that come with them so that you can stick to the bottom of the set up and they will stay where they are placed and that it is so thoughtful of the manufacturer to think enough to send those extras.I love this look so much it looks a lot like malachite, which is one of my favorite stones, and it makes my incense burner so much nicer with its beauty!

Would have been a 5 if the ball held a HEM stick upright while sitting in the tray.

So I really wanted to love this tray--it is very pretty on a side table, quite simple and elegant, charming, and easy to clean. I appreciate the pads added to make sure the bottom doesn't scratch any surfaces. The tray itself is a heavy piece, very sturdy, and seconds to clean. It also makes it easy to pour ash into the compost bin without a big mess. Some problems exist, however. The ball is not attached to the tray, which makes it prone to any slight bump. The bottom surface of the ball is not formed to fit the tray, and so it doesn't at all sit with firm contact with the surface--just sort of. If you bump it, you will see it move, or even twist to the side letting the ash hang over the edge of the tray. This is somewhat of a hazard unless it is up and out of the way.Secondly, the ball itself will not hold a standard HEM Patchouli stick when sitting on the tray! It is too heavy for it, and it falls down, as shown in a picture here. A workaround for this is to move the ball off the tray and have it sit right up against the tray (also shown). This gives the ball a chance to have full contact with surface and therefore the new center of gravity with the stick is not able to pull it down. But still, it looks weird and sort of diminishes of the effect of the tray, which is supposed to be a relatively contained incense unit, not something I have to adapt.Anyhow, all that makes it a 3.5 for me, here rounded to a 4. I will still get some use out of it for the lighter and shorter incense sticks (i.e. Japanese, etc.) This may suit your purposes, and all other aspects of it are quite nice.

Pretty, but the holder is too small

This is a very attractive incense holder. The green marble base is well made and solid. It comes with rubber feet for stability, though you have to attach them yourself. The main issue is the brass ball that actually holds the incense stick. It is too small and lightweight. I dug through my stash of incense and found one type that is just barely light enough to not fall over. The vast majority of incense sticks will be too heavy. But it's pretty, so I'm willing to work with it. Some decent double sided tape or glue/epoxy should be able to hold the brass ball in place. I'm thinking about grinding down the flat bottom a bit further to see if that will make it stable enough to make it work better.

Beautiful, but the ball that holds the stick needs tape or glue to stay upright

This is a solid, heavy and gorgeously smooth marble incense burner. It comes with some anti-slip foot pads you have to stick on the bottom yourself, and since it's on the bottom anyway I used the leftover mold the feet peeled off of on the middle for extra grip. The golden ball that holds the incense up is the one flaw in the design- it has a flattened bottom to stand on, but because it is not very heavy and the curve of the marble base doesn't allow it to sit flat anyway it will just fall over, every time. I remedied that quite easily with a small square of electrical tape doubled over to be sticky on both sides, it held the ball in place fine and I trimmed it to be hidden from view, so it works alright. You could use glue for a permanent fix, but I like being able to remove the ball of desired. The size of the ash catcher and angle of the ball for holding the incense at were perfect, all of the ash fell onto the catcher, no mess, and was very easy to wipe away gently with a soft cloth afterwards. The design of this doesn't really work as is, but you can fix that easily enough, and for how very solid and beautiful it is I can certainly overlook that. In the end I really love this, and after fixing, it works great.

Pure marble piece

The holder came well packaged.. As it is in its own box, it can be a good gift as well, in case. The holder is made of pure and polished marble,. adding touch to my worship area. The small incence stik holder looks like made of brass, as its heavy and has 1 hole to hold max 2 stickt at a time. Overall very good looking piece for sure!!

Avoid! Critical design flaw

After testing this incense holder with every type of stick incense we have in the house I find myself puzzled as to what it actually designed for. Placed on a flat surface, the bronze ball is capable of holding up both a 5.5 coreless Japanese incense stick, as well as an 8 bamboo core stick, while failing to support an 11 bamboo core stick. That's fine, but the keen-eyed observer might have noticed the marble tray lacks any flat spots for which to set the ball, thus reducing the contact area of the ball from a flat spot to two points in space, thus moving the center of gravity of the ball and rendering it near useless. As shown in my photos, the holder still manages to (somehow) support the shorter, coreless incense while on the tray, but why would you need an 11 tray for that?As is, I simply can't actually recommend this incense holder to anyone for any reason. If you are absolutely in love with the look, the DIY-inclined should be able to find a way to make it function better, be it an adhesive of some sort, or crafting a pedestal for the ball out of something like wood or Play-Doh.

classy

Stunningly gorgeous slab of Indian green marble with a flat-bottomed orb that fits standard incense sticks (thicker ones won't fit in here). Comes with a pack of soft feet that can be stuck on the bottom four corners. I can't think of anything else critical to remark upon with this one other than the fact that it can't hold thicker incense sticks (and in my embarrassingly large incense collection, I only have about 5% of thicker sticks anyway, so that's not a dealbreaker for me by any means); it's otherwise perfect!

Beautifully impressive marble incense holder

I burn incense sticks to promote ambiance; I ordered this marble incense holder for its beauty. IMO the natural marble trough is beautifully impressive with its rich green color and its natural veining, and natural marble dusts and wipes clean practically. The marble trough is satisfyingly heavy and is well finished. The package includes gummed non-slip rubber pads to buffer hard table tops plus a gold-anodized aluminum sphere. The gold-anodized sphere has a flat bottom to sit in the marble trough, plus a drilled hole to accept an incense stick.I'm aware that other reviewers found the gold-anodized sphere too lightweight not to tip over; the attached photo (incense sticks not included) depicts I did not experience that problem. If I encountered tipping problems with longer incense sticks I would shorten an incense stick's bare stem for better balance. Wishing to maintain convenience, only as a last resort would I epoxy glue the gold-anodized sphere to the marble trough; I doubt that is necessary and the marble trough is nicer when not glued.

FAQs

Common questions about shipping, stone care, and returns.

Is shipping really free?

Yes — all U.S. orders ship free with no minimum purchase, and samples are included. For delivery outside the United States, please contact us at sales@koville.com for availability and rates.

How long will my order take to arrive?

In-stock orders usually ship within 72 hours, and most orders are delivered within 5–10 business days. Orders with laser engraving take a little longer: we email you a proof first, and production begins only after you approve it.

Will my piece look exactly like the product photos?

Not exactly — and that is the point. Every piece is cut from natural stone, so veining, tone, and natural markings vary from piece to piece. The photographs illustrate the character of the stone rather than an identical pattern; your piece will have its own one-of-a-kind pattern.

How do I clean and care for natural stone?

Wipe with a soft cloth and warm water with a drop of mild, pH-neutral soap, then dry. Avoid acidic cleaners such as vinegar or lemon, which can etch the surface. For more guidance, see our Stone Care guides.

What is your return policy?

Items in brand-new condition with no quality issues can be returned within 14 days of delivery, and items with quality problems can be replaced within 30 days. Please contact us before sending anything back so we can guide you through the process; return shipping for non-quality returns is the customer's responsibility. See the full refund policy for details.

Can I return or exchange a personalized item?

Items with custom laser engraving are made to order to your specifications and cannot be returned or exchanged.
